Since Obama and Senate Democrats won't hold Iran REMOTELY accountable with SANCTIONS bills H.R. 3460 and S. 1682, it is PAST TIME to use the power of the federal purse and COMPEL COMPLIANCE.
Why is Congress acting as if the United States is bound to proceed with terms and obligations under Obama's dirty deal for a nuclear Iran – but Iran ISN'T?

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz is doing ALL he can to RALLY his feckless colleagues in the Senate to use Continuing Resolution funding as LEVERAGE in this fight! Defenders of America and Israel CAN STILL force Obama to hand over the Iranian side accords – those same "secret side deals" it made with U.N. IAEA inspectors allowing Iran to inspect itself for violations of the nuke deal!
In fact, Iran is ALREADY self-inspecting – including taking soil samples from its Parchin military base implicated in FORBIDDEN previous nuclear military R&D activity – to "PROVE" it meets the criteria for SANCTIONS RELIEF to the tune of $150 BILLION, and for Obama's nuke deal to proceed!
This INSANITY must and can still be stopped, if Congress will do its duty by shutting off Obama's funding for it!
Sen. Cruz argues that because Obama didn't hand over the text of these secret deals along with the rest of the agreement, the 60-day Congressional review period never actually began… this is the SAME ARGUMENT being successfully used in the Lower Chamber of the House to try and SINK this raw "deal" enriching and empowering the mad mullahs of Iran – and inevitably giving them NUCLEAR WEAPONS.
While the House appears ready to sue Obama for failure to comply, fifty-seven House lawmakers so far have signed onto a letter led by Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) urging McConnell to GO NUCLEAR IN SENATE PROCEDURE – just like Harry Reid did! – to STOP IRAN!
"Our request to eliminate the filibuster for some votes simply underscores that in a democracy the majority should decide," they wrote. "The super-majority now required to advance legislation is 60 votes, which is not serving our country well."
CONGRESS MUST KNOW THAT YOU REFUSE TO ROLL OVER AND PLAY DEAD FOR OBAMA AND THAT YOU DEMAND S. 1682 BE PUT ON OBAMA'S DESK!
Hoping you'll "move on," the major media is LYING with claims that Obama's nuclear Iran is a DONE DEAL – but YOUR advocacy can still ensure Congress KILLS this deal!
House conservatives SPURRED BY YOU successfully twisted Boehner's arm and PASSED H.R. 3460 to suspend the authority of the President to waive, suspend, reduce, or otherwise relieve sanctions on Iran until January 21, 2017 – when OBAMA IS OUT and a NEW PRESIDENT IS IN the Oval Office!
The House also passed H. Res. 412 deeming that Obama has FAILED TO COMPLY with the terms of the Corker-Cardin legislation authorizing his nuclear negotiations. This effectually throws the review process of Obama's Iran accord into suspension, and lays the legal groundwork to SUE this out-of-bounds administration if it proceeds with implementation of "the deal."
H.R. 3460 is the legislation Mitch McConnell in the Senate URGENTLY must pick up and enact – using the 'nuclear option' to pass a bill with 51 votes instead of adhering to a 3/5s supermajority standard requiring 60 votes.
It is time to fight fire with fire – and STOP Obama's nuclear surrender to Tehran by showing MORE respect for the VOTERS and NATIONAL SECURITY and LESS concern for the lost "dignity" of the corrupt Senate.
Likewise, with all speed, the House MUST introduce and pass its own version of S. 1682 renewing sanctions on Iran!
Last week, McConnell was BLOCKED by Democrats from bringing measures to STOP Obama from lifting sanctions until Iran FREES four imprisoned Americans and recognizes the right of Israel to exist – bills that according to Sen. Bob Corker HAVE THE VOTES to veto-override Obama and bring these Americans home!
Corker can't count, because the Democrats still have the votes to FILIBUSTER getting THIS McCONNELL STRATEGY TO THE FLOOR! The GOP needs to "go nuclear" with H.R. 3460 sanctions…
SUPPORT SANCTIONS, SUPPORT SINKING THIS DEAL!
If Iran doesn't get EVERYTHING IT WANTS – like $150 BILLION DOLLARS in SANCTIONS RELIEF CASH, along with self-inspections and ballistic missiles testing – IRAN WILL REJECT OBAMA'S DEAL. It will do the job Congress made sure with Corker-Cardin it couldn't do!
NOW all the Senate has to do is follow the House: PASS H.R. 3460 declaring Obama has not complied with the Corker-Cardin betrayal and SUSPEND THE RELEASE OF SANCTIONS.
But it will NEVER HAPPEN unless McConnell FEELS THE HEAT – along with every other senator until these bills are passed! You see, the Vichy Republicans want to use the fallout from Obama's bad Iran deal as CAMPAIGN FODDER to court your votes… They really think we're that gullible even though THEY CREATED THIS DEFEAT WITH CORKER-CARDIN and THEN REFUSED TO FIGHT THEIR WAY OUT OF IT.
The ONLY path forward now is the strategy being pushed by conservatives led by Sen. Ted Cruz. To reverse the needless Corker-Cardin debacle and prevent a nuclear Iran, GOP "leaders" Boehner and McConnell MUST FOLLOW Cruz's 3-step plan of repudiating Corker-Cardin, sustaining sanctions, and blocking Obama from paying out billions to the Iranian in defiance of U.S. law:

THE CRUZ STRATEGY 1. Majority Leader and Speaker Boehner must determine that because President Obama has not submitted to Congress the widely reported side deals, the President has not yet submitted the Iran agreement as required by Corker-Cardin. Therefore, the 60-day clock for congressional review has not yet begun to run. And, critically, as a result, federal law prohibits the Obama Administration from lifting sanctions. 2. Leader McConnell should introduce a resolution expressing the sense of the Senate that, if the agreement had been introduced as a treaty, it should not be ratified. This will put everyone on record and will make clear that there is insufficient support in the Senate for approving the agreement as a treaty. 3. McConnell and Boehner should make clear to the CEOs of banks holding frozen Iranian funds that their misplaced reliance on the President's lawlessness would not necessarily excuse them from the obligation to comply with existing federal sanctions laws. And if they release billions in funds to Khamenei, they risk billions in civil (and possibly even criminal) liability once President Obama leaves office. |
There it laid out, step by step – a doable strategy to sink Obama's nuclear deal… 'Death to America' Iran WILL NOT recognize Israel or release our citizens held captive – but McConnell and Boehner don't have the guts to challenge Iran OR Obama unless you demand it!
YOUR ACTION IS NEEDED NOW: Buried within the headlines, within hours of the Harry Reid's Senate filibuster of the Republicans' resolution of disapproval on Obama's Iran deal, both the European Union and the United Nations took emboldened measures to OSTRACIZE ISRAEL from the emerging "New World Order" in which anti-Western Islamists are appeased and allies of civilization are abandoned.
The European Union advanced measures in compliance with the Boycott of Israel movement to LABEL all products made in the "occupied" areas of the Palestinian Authority; and the United Nations voted to hoist the Palestinian "state" flag at its headquarters in New York.
Conservative Congressional members are bucking GOP Establishment marching orders because they know Obama's dangerous, ILLEGAL nuclear deal with Iran's terror state means DISASTER for Israel and the free world.
We will NOT stop until this deal is KILLED.
Senate Vichy Republicans Mitch McConnell and Bob Corker are making excuses that even following the conservative House strategy, Obama can do whatever he wants… Don't give these TRAITORS an inch!
Khamenei himself just publicly said Israel won't survive the next 25 years… That's a TEN YEAR countdown after Neville Chamberlain Obama's "peace in our time" deal phases out.
"After negotiations, in Zionist regime they said they had no more concern about Iran for next 25 years; I'd say: Firstly, you will not see next 25 years; God willing, there will be nothing as Zionist regime by next 25 years. Secondly, until then, struggling, heroic and jihadi morale will leave no moment of serenity for Zionists," threatened Khamenei.
All the while the Supreme Leader of Iran continues to call the United States the "Great Satan" and REJECTS any further talks with Washington… According to a Times of Israel report, Khamenei tweeted that talks with the U.S. were a "means of infiltration and imposition of their wills."

The coup de grace: Obama says the U.S. will support lifting United Nations arms embargos against Iran – putting BALLISTIC MISSILES and other armament into the bloody hands of the preeminent worldwide sponsor of Islamic terrorism.
In exchange, this "deal" empowering and enriching Iran will purportedly extend Iran's "breakout" time for nuclear capability from a couple of months to one year… If perpetual rule-breaker, enemy of America since 1979 Iran plays by the rules. Which they won't.
Congress is now proven foolish to trust Obama to negotiate ANYTHING foreign policy related, let alone a matter so vital and sensitive as a nuclear Iran – but it's not too late to stop Obama from giving Iran the nuclear bomb if Congress votes to RESTORE CONSTITUTIONAL OVERSIGHT BY REVOKING THE VIOLATED CORKER-CARDIN and AT LEAST passes H.R. 3460 AND S. 1682 SANCTIONS – preferably by a veto-proof margin!
This God-awful mess CAN BE contained, IF Congress REVOKES CORKER-CARDIN FOR OBAMA'S VIOLATIONS, and immediately takes up and PASSES H.R. 3460 AND S. 1682, extending the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 – and DOES SO DECISIVELY!

We get NOTHING from this deal except a "promised delay" until the day when Iran decides to lob nuclear bombs on Israel and on America.
