A "cease-fire" is presently in place in Gaza, but with Hamas determined to destroy Israel and kill ALL the Jews, does this not merely delay the inevitable day of reckoning, when the jihadists must be militarily defeated?

On Thursday night, Nov. 15, anti-Israel protesters gathered outside of President Obama's re-election campaign headquarters in Chicago lying about "Israeli war crimes" – and their hate-filled lies were beamed as major news all over the globe. Real Americans are overwhelmingly supportive of Israel, and the Jewish nation's right to defend herself and her people from terrorist attack.

But the mainstream, legacy news outlets are operating as relentless organs of pro-Palestinian propaganda, bombarding Washington DC and the world with images and reports defaming Israel. We MUST counter them with the TRUTH and with OUR SUPPORT SHOWING THAT AMERICA STANDS WITH ISRAEL!

During the last few days, Hamas terrorists have fired more than 100 rockets and missiles per day at Israeli cities including the sacred city of Jerusalem – a new provocation and acceleration of aggression by the terrorists. Israel launched Operation Pillar of Defense to destroy the terrorists' launching points and the rockets.

Now footage broadcast by Hamas on its Al-Aqsa TV documents what Israel has been reporting – that Hamas is launching its rockets from residential areas near civilian homes, blatantly using its civilians as human shields.

Obama warned Israel against "ramping up" a ground operation against Hamas in statements reflecting too much moral equivalence between terrorist Palestinian operations and Israeli defensive actions. Obama has been lobbying Netanyahu along with the leaders of Egypt and Turkey to try to halt the crisis – ostensibly with a view to getting Hamas to stop rocket strikes on Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meanwhile declared that Israel was prepared to significantly expand its military operation in Gaza. He said Israel was justly responding to "an ever escalating number of missiles that were landing not just in Israeli territory, but in areas that are populated. And there's no country on earth that would tolerate missiles raining down on its citizens from outside its borders."

Obama's supporters are giving him cover to push Israel – we MUST PUSH BACK!

As reported by Breitbart, the Chicago pro-Hamas propaganda-fest was mounted by the Palestine Solidarity Group, the Chicago Movement for Palestinian Rights, the U.S. Palestinian Community Network, and American Muslims for Palestine – virtually all of which were extremist pro-jihadi fronts mobilized to elect Barack Hussein Obama. The protest was staged in front of Obama campaign headquarters ostensibly to urge the president to "take a stand against Israel" but were really just pro-Hamas theater for the news cameras.

Ahmed Rehab of the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) was there, and John Beacham of the Party for Socialism and Liberation/ANSWER Coalition, a buddy of Holocaust denier and mass murder Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. So was Leah Bolger, the president of Veterans for Peace. They were all featured speakers at this Israel-bashing, anti-Semitic festival of hate. Members of the International Socialists Organization and other Marxist activists were abundantly in attendance.

None of the speakers were short on controversy; however, John Beacham and Leah Bolger's remarks were particularly provocative.

Beacham declared:

The biggest terrorists in the world today are in the Pentagon, they're in Washington and Tel Aviv… And we can win here in the United States for Palestine, by building a movement, that shakes the foundations of this country by building international solidarity with all those who are standing up to the terrorist acts of the U.S. and Israeli government.

Bolger echoed Beacham, querying the crowd, "You know who the real terrorists are? The United States, the people in the uniforms." Yay! Death to bourgeois nationalists! Down with the lackeys of Zion!

As Hamas relentlessly continues to launch deadly strikes upon the civilian population of Israel, the government of the Jewish state says it is ready to expand the operation against Gaza. Meantime, shockingly hate-filled, unjust and irrational global protests against Israel have thousands taking to the streets around the world.

Reportedly nearly a thousand Indonesian students demonstrated in Jakarta in well-orchestrated protests, carrying Palestinian flags as well as photos of destruction and casualties, and shouting "Save Gaza, save humanity" outside the U.S. embassy. "America is a country that has always championed human rights but why is it not doing anything to stop Israel's attacks? Israel is the real terrorist," protest coordinator Yousef Saiful Gunawan was widely quoted in the international press.

A crowd of again reportedly around a thousand took to the streets of Santiago, Chile – the country's capital city – to protest against the ongoing violence in Gaza. The demonstrators carried banners with graphic, anti-Semitic photos allegedly depicting the conflict's Palestinian victims. There are about 350,000 Chileans of Palestinian descent living in Chile, making it one of the largest such communities outside of the Arab world.

Crowds also gathered in the Netherlands' capital Amsterdam to protest the Gaza assault. The demonstrators were holding posters which read, "No Dutch support for apartheid in Palestine. Boycott Israel."

In London, throngs also rallied in support of the Palestinian people outside the Israeli embassy, condemning the British government's stance on the issue. Sarah Colborne, director of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, said protesters aimed to demonstrate they were "vehemently opposed" to the Foreign Office's position. The crowds waved Palestinian flags, sang "Gaza we will never let you die," screaming denunciations branding Israel a "terror state." There was a significant police presence in the area of the protest, with the road leading to the Israeli embassy blocked by barriers and a gate.

Meanwhile, reaching into Israel herself, the Palestinian terrorists are broadcasting propaganda that proclaims to young Israeli Defense Force soldiers: 'There Is Nothing For You Here But Death' The terrorists "ad" marketing Hamas and its agenda of mass murder and mayhem is playing continuously on Palestinian TV, trumpeting: "All of Palestine is ours. There's nothing for you here but death… In the land you came to alive, you will end as body parts." The ad transcript is barbaric, and deranged. It reads in full: "The price will be high, sons of Zion. Are you willing to pay the price? We promise that you will regret your foolish crimes. Oh occupier, we are coming towards you. Leave our land. All of Palestine is ours. There's nothing here for you but death. There's nothing here for you but to be killed and to leave. On the mountains, behind the hills and inside the valleys, you will be defeated. Whether you come by land, by sea or by air, you will be crushed. If your arms reach [us], they will be cut off. If your eyes look [at us], they will be gouged out. If [your] defeated army attacks again, it will not return [alive]. We came to you as fear. If we return it will be worse for you. In the land that you came to alive, you will end as body parts. That is Allah's promise." [Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), Nov. 16, 2012]

 

A typical Israeli response can be found in this simple, uplifting video from the young fighters of the Israeli Air Force, Arial Defense Unit – "Help Us Spread A Personal Message from 'Iron Dome' Fighters" The fighters of the Israeli Iron Dome missile defense system are sending those under attack in Israel, and all those who pray for the peace of Israel, a personal message… "It's an amazing feeling, it feels like I'm saving lives", says Sergeant Adir Levi enthusiastically, who is responsible for two successful interceptions from the Ashdod battery. "Once I saw my success with the interception I was thrilled. While were under attack, we were under so much pressure at the control room. We have to show character and have the right attitude in order to operate. No one can do the job for us." Levi and other soldiers from the battery are all hoping that the intensification will soon end, but they are ready to keep on fighting back as long as needed. "This is the most challenging escalation we have experienced yet" Beyond the actual launchings, the Iron Dome deals with the need of strengthening the system on a daily basis, to keep it intact and to eliminate future losses. "I have been through many sleepless nights since more of the work gets done when the sun goes down, we get called in many times," says Corporal Roman Pindrik, a radar technical engineer who also operated at the Ashdod battery. Corporal Pindrik can relate personally to the whole situation: his twin brother, Corporal Dima Pindrik, also operates as a technical engineer, but at the Ashkelon Iron Dome battery. Their family lives in Ashkelon, and in the past they lived in Sderot both areas which have suffered relentless rocket attack by the terrorists. "My brother and I are always involved with the maintenance of the radar," adds Corporal Pindrik. "We are both very proud to be a part of the formation and have the great honor of protecting our country."

Pro-Israel Republicans and Democrats in the House and the Senate MUST unite in defense of the Jewish state! Whatever the recent election tallies may finally prove to be, the REAL political fact that matters is one cold, hard fact. As Ed Koch describes it, "I have not recovered from my shock when I learned from a Gallup poll conducted in February 2010 that 48 percent of Democrats supported Israel and 70 percent of Republicans did. Those figures are permanently seared in my mind."

In response to UN agencies' support for Palestinian repudiation of long-standing UN resolutions governing the Israeli-Palestinian dispute, the U.S. Congress is taking action, but MUST be emboldened. Long-standing U.S. law to protect Israel is in effect and restricting some UN funding – but MORE MUST BE DONE! Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, has authored the UN Transparency, Accountability, and Reform Act (H.R. 2829) which authorizes the U.S. and other member states to fund only those UN activities and agencies they determine are efficient and in the national interest.

The bill has the support of some 141 co-sponsors, all Republican. Congressional Democrats have shunned it, but in a letter sent to Democrat lawmakers, Mayor Koch said it would "strengthen America's ability to lead at the UN in order to advance the interests of our nation and our ally Israel…" The U.S. presently accounts for more than one-fifth of the UN's operating budget.

Koch rightly observed, "The reason the UN is often on the side of the PLO instead of the U.S. and Israel, and on the side of dictatorships instead of democracies, is that there are no consequences for bad behavior."

There will be no prospects for peace in Jerusalem, in Eretz Israel, nor in the Middle East unless and until America counters Obama's treachery, truly stands with the Jewish state and helps ensure the terrorist jihadis led by Hamas in Gaza, and in Judea and Samaria are militarily defeated.
